The Forum is unique in retail
for developing the potential of senior managers

"Creativity involves breaking out of established patterns in order to look at things in a different way."
Edward De Bono

The Oxford Retail Masters Forum has been designed to take senior retail personnel beyond the day-to-day issues of running a business and grant them the opportunity to consider the broader picture, to network with other retailers and stretch themselves in a challenging, yet supportive environment.

The structure of the programme encourages delegates to look at things in a different way; to find their own creative solutions to high level strategic issues during the week. There is plenty of expertise on hand to advise, including respected industry leaders and retail professionals, to whom delegates will have full access. By looking at threats and opportunities, which they can profit or protect themselves from, the course ultimately helps senior managers to become more effective.

Forum delegates are senior individuals with a high level of responsibility. In larger organisations, they occupy roles such as: senior store manager; regional or district manager. In smaller or independent businesses they may be a newly appointed director, an independent owner/manager or second in command. Whether the organisation is large or small, delegates will be at a career stage where their decisions impact or influence the business.

The benefits to the individual are:
• An opportunity to test the quality of their thinking and understanding
• Practical ideas for enhancing their own business
• A chance to meet and learn from some of the best in the industry
• Deepen insight into both current and future challenges
• Networking opportunities
• Enhance overall retail effectiveness

The benefits to the business are:
• Learning forums ensuring practical ideas are shared and capitalised upon in your own business
• Widens horizons and stimulates new approaches to your current and future business challenges
• Enables your best managers to become even better!
